Sudah coba cek peralatan plastik yang ada dirumah? disetiap plastik ada kode-kode yang kadang kita bingung, apa si arti dari kode tersebut?. Ternyata plastik itu banyak macamnya dan ada kode untuk mengidentifikasinya lho. Apa saja kode nya?
Berikut adalah 10 macam jenis plastik dan kegunaanya :
1. PP (Polypropylene), bahan plastik yang digunakan untuk dipakai pada packing makanan kering / snack. sedotan, kantong obat, penutup, cup, tas, botol, dsb.
2. PE (Poly Ethylene), bahan plastik yang digunakan sebagai packing minuman atau barang-cairan, seperti es batu, syrup, maupun minuman lainnya.
3. OPP (Oriented Polystyrene), sangat bening, kurang tahan panas. Digunakan untuk mempacking roti & snack, t-shirt, jackets, baju. Menambah keindahan penamplan produk. Supaya tidak mudah robek dipergunakan double layer side & gusset.
4. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), bahan plastik yang bewarna putih susu atau putih bersih. Selain itu plastik PET juga sering digunakan sebagai botol air minum kemasan.
7. Polystyrene (PS) bersifat berubah bentuk & berbunyi. Bahan plastik yang digunakan untuk gabus (styrofoam, cup, box, tray daging, tempat telur) Plastik Cor adalah bahan plastik yang biasa dipergunakan untuk pengecoran bangunan.
